The Original Motor City Sqaure Pizza was created by Gus Guerra — the founder of Cloverleaf Pizza 🍀🍕

Here`s the story 👇

In 1946, Gus baked up the first Detroit-style square at Buddy`s before opening Cloverleaf Restaurant in 1953 with his wife Anna.

When he left Buddy`s, he brought the original recipe with him and built Cloverleaf into the home of The Original Motor City Square.

So, while other places may serve Detroit-Style Pizza and claim to be the original, Cloverleaf is where the tradition was born and still lives on today ❤️
